We currently hold no paid placement or affiliate agreements, and no institution pays to appear in our tables, which are ranked purely by APY. If that ever changes, paid links will be labelled here and on the page where they appear.

Rate accuracy. Each bank APY we publish is recorded from a dated source — either the institution's own rate page ("Bank verified") or a reputable rate aggregator ("Reported"), with the source and the date it was last checked shown alongside the rate. We never estimate a rate, and we only report a rise or cut when we hold an earlier confirmed reading for the same product. Benchmark yields come from the Federal Reserve Economic Data service. Rates change frequently — always confirm the current rate directly with the institution before opening an account.
